in-room services. A key post-pandemic trend is “revenge tourism,” with travelers prioritizing immersive
experiences and longer stays. This has increased the demand for sustainable travel, deeper cultural
connections, and exclusive wellness retreats. At Fairmont Jaipur, we have responded by enhancing our
wellness offerings, integrating sustainable practices, and providing personalized experiences such as
heritage walks and authentic culinary experiences.

Fairmont Jaipur is proud to be the first hotel in the Accor portfolio in India to achieve the esteemed
Green Globe Certification. This evaluates organizations against rigorous criteria for economic,
social, and environmental sustainability. Our dedication is further highlighted by our achievements in
the Excellence in Sustainable Hospitality Practices category at the Financial Express Green Sarthi
Awards 2024, and being named the Best Sustainable Hotel 2024 by Travel and Leisure. Through initiatives
like Orbisk for food waste reduction, rainwater harvesting, and eco-friendly amenities, we aim to
reduce our environmental footprint while providing luxury experiences.
5. LOOKING BACK AT YOUR 25-YEAR JOURNEY, WHAT WERE THE DEFINING ROLES?
My journey began in 1998, leading to experiences in pre-opening teams and luxury property management.
Over eight transformative years at Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, I honed my skills across F&B, Revenue
Management, and Sales. Spearheading the pre-opening of Hilton Gurgaon and driving guest satisfaction at
ITC Grand Bharat (doubling total revenue) have been highlights. Now at Fairmont Jaipur, I aim to
establish the property as India’s premier wedding and luxury destination. Each role has strengthened my
belief in innovation and guest-centric hospitality.

continuously challenging the status quo.

I draw inspiration from history, architecture, and culinary traditions. Travel fuels my passion for
experiential luxury, while leadership philosophies centered on empowering teams reinforce my belief

a motivated workforce enhances guest experiences.

Master the fundamentals, commit to lifelong learning, embrace sustainability, and be adaptable. The
ability to evolve with guest expectations is essential.
